JOURNEY
Jamieson Valley Retreat is located in the north-eastern part of Victoria, about 230km from Melbourne. It’s a relatively easy 3hr drive with plenty of scenery along the way.
If travelling from the South – Eastern Suburbs, take Maroondah HWY travelling through Lilydale, Yarra Glen and following the road signs all the way up to Yea. If travelling from the North – Western suburbs, take Hume HWY and look out for the exit sign to Yea which is just before you reach Seymour.
Once you reach Yea, you may consider stopping briefly for a break. Continue following the road signs to Mansfield passing Bonnie Doon along the way. Upon entering Mansfield, you might want to drop in at the Tourist Info Centre located on the left. Continue through the town centre following the road signs to Jamieson and Mt. Buller. After about 4km out of Mansfield, turn right into Mansfield / Woods Point Rd and travel for roughly 40km till you reach the Jamieson township.
After passing the ‘Welcome to Jamieson’ post, turn at the first left following the sign to Licola. Keep going to the end where you cross over the Jamieson River and follow the road to the left. At the end is Licola Rd that heads to the right, it’s a dirt road. Continue along it for about 4kms till you see our sign ‘Jamieson Valley Retreat’.
